Kisah tentang seorang santri putri yang bernama Lentera ini sering diuji kekokohan hatinya. Santri yang masuk ke pesantren karena dipaksa kedua orang tuanya membuatnya menjadi nakal. Selalu membuat keributan dengan tingkahnya yang membolos ngaji dan kerjaannya yang hanya tidur di kelas. Tapi dia telah berubah setelah mengetahui orang tuanya mengalami koma selama 5 bulan lebih akibat kecelakaan yang sangat parah. Kakaknya yang kuliah di Jerman selalu memberinya motivasi untuk berubah, dan berusaha membantunya mencari jati dirinya. Membuat mimpi-mimpinya menjadi sebuah kenyataan, bukan ilusi yang selalu hadir di setiap tidurnya.

Dia berpacaran dengan seorang laki-laki yang bernama Arsya, namun sayangnya cintanya harus berakhir dengan duka, karena Arsya telah berselingkuh dengan seorang wanita yang bernama Risti. Tapi Allah punya maksud yang lain tentunya, dia kemudian bersahabat dengan seorang laki-laki tampan yang selalu memotivasinya untuk melangkah. Namanya adalah Prasetyo. Prasetyo yang selalu memperhatikan dirinya dari kejauhan. Dia yang berusaha merebut hati lentera dengan mengirimkan berbagai macam buku untuknya.

Cinta yang lama-lama tumbuh di hati mereka memaksakan untuk keduanya tetap bungkam. Mereka lebih memilih mempertahankan egonya persahabatan. Dan di suatu hari kebenaran telah terungkap, ternyata Risti adalah saudara Arsya. Dia mengaku pacar Arsya karena tak ingin lentera berpacaran dengan sepupunya. Setelah mengetahui kebenaran itu, semuanya sudah terlambat. Arsya telah pindah ke Jakarta mengikuti orang tuanya. Mengetahui Lentera yang masih mencintai Arsya membuat Prasetyo terpuruk dalam kerapuhan. Namun, Prasetyo tidak menyerah. Berhasilkah Prasetyo mendapatkan hati Lentera?

But God has another purpose, of course, he then befriends a handsome man who always motivates him to step. His name is Prasetyo. Prasetyo who always cares for himself from a distance.
